    FOUNDER -

I’ve been involved in rescue for over 15 years and have always felt an affinity to animals, frequently taking home strays and injured wildlife as a child.

My love of OES has been more recent, though, with Misty, Rupert, Amber, Louis, and Kizzie (The Famous Five).  Sadly, Misty, Rupert, and Amber are no longer with us, but Blue and Doodle the Poodle have joined the team.

I am a passionate advocate for animal rights and provide my support wherever I can, including stopping testing on animals, putting an end to hunting, and stopping the use of punishment and aversive tools in the dog world.

    DALE MCLELLAND

    LEAD BEHAVIOURIST -

Dale is a qualified Behaviourist and Trainer and is the Behaviour Lead for the rescue. She has supported countless dogs and their guardians using force-free, science-informed, and compassionate methods. She currently lives with 3 OES. Eric, Ethel, and Esme.

    ZOE

    SECRETARY -

My name is Zoe French and I am based in Gloucestershire. I have been passionate about Old English Sheepdogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my first OES, Pepper, who inspired my lifelong affection for the breed. Since then, I have rescued two more wonderful dogs, Byron and Geronimo, with Geronimo making the long journey from Mexico to join our family. As Secretary, I am proud to support the charity’s work and help ensure that more Old English Sheepdogs find the loving homes they deserve.

    RICHARD

Richard is an instrumental part of the team and our main driver.  He's been helping in rescue for a number of years, volunteering his time in between his job as a driver.
